Agnes Husz, a ceramic artist living in Japan since 1993, creates dynamic ceramic sculptures that resemble "spatial paintings" made from fragments of clay. Her work is rooted in the traditions and philosophy of Asia, instinctively blending Eastern and Western influences. The fundamental elements of her works resemble the patterns of Japanese kimono obi. With over 30 years of activity, she has become an indispensable figure in contemporary ceramics, receiving high acclaim, including being selected as a finalist for the prestigious Loewe Craft Award 2025.
