Photographic artist, jewelry designer, Partner of MOYIART.
Having been immersed in painting for nearly twenty years,
Neo Zhao has gradually built up his personal artistic values in painting and applied them in his photography and design works.
Over the years, he has traveled to Europe and Asia to engage in curatorial and cultural exchanges between Chinese and Western art,
which has enriched his artistic thinking.
After a journey of ten years in personalized jewelry customization, XMCO was established as its own original jewelry brand in 2023.
He has a deep love for art and devoted himself in studying the history of art and humanities, philosophy and religious theories.
He is keen to discuss art and life with different people.
His rich experience has shaped his unique artistic expression.
He is good in using light and shadow to create opposing relationships to reflect the layers and complexity of things in space,
thus exploring the balance and harmony between movement and stillness, complexity and simplicity, more and less.
His photography has the power to draw you to the "peaceful place" within each of us, even if we are in this noisy world.

ZHAO XUAN GONG（NEO ZHAO）_x000B_Since 2010, I have served as a partner at MOYART,
overseeing brand development for initiatives such as Visual Art Exploration (non-commercial, non-incentive art platforms) and art education programs.
In 2011, I led MOYART’s international exhibition project at the Florence International Contemporary Biennale (Italy),
managing brand promotion in China, artist selection, and organizing overseas exhibitions.
In 2016, I was invited by the Consulate General of the Netherlands in Shanghai to coordinate the inaugural Dutch Artists in Shanghai series.
In 2019, I co-founded MOYIART Art Classroom with Li Mier（Amy Li）, focusing on innovative art education.
2021 Highlights:
* Curated the dual photography exhibition Light the Light: Anthology of Illumination for the 14th Dutch Artists in Shanghai series,
featuring works by Elly Dijks × Neo Zhao.
* Collaborated with Guo Juan (Director of Badongshang) on the interdisciplinary exhibition Glimmering,
merging photography and floral installations to promote immersive art experiences.
In 2023:
* Co-founded the art jewelry brand Xuan Mu Chen XMCO with Li Mier, blending photography and wearable art.
* Participated in the 16th Dutch Artists in Shanghai exhibition The Source, showcasing works with artists Wim Zurne, Chen Yanfei, and Neo Zhao.
2024 Updates:
* Joined Chang Academy as a mentor for art disciplines.
* Exhibited photography and contemporary jewelry at the Mysterious Park Art Salon.
