Guo Mu, Ph.D. from the University of Sydney, is a professor, doctoral supervisor, and member of the Chinese Artists Association and Chinese Calligraphers Association. He holds key roles including Vice Chairman of the Chinese Calligraphers and Painters Federation, Honorary President of the Japan International Art Research Institute, and Artistic Director of China’s Tiantai Mountain Buddhist Art Center. Trained under masters like Sha Menghai, he has showcased his ink art in solo exhibitions across Beijing, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, Germany, and other regions. His works have been featured in over 800 international exhibitions spanning 100+ countries and presented as diplomatic gifts by Chinese leaders. Awarded the "Chinese Heritage Top Ten Outstanding Artistic Achievement" (2009) and a gold medal at Japan’s 5th International Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition (2010), his creations are collected by museums worldwide, including the U.S., U.K., France, Germany, and Australia.
Guo Mu has held solo calligraphy and painting exhibitions in Huzhou, Jiaxing, Beijing, Hangzhou, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, Germany, and other regions. His works have been featured in over 800 exhibitions across more than 100 countries. In 2010, his calligraphy and painting work Tiger was awarded the Gold Medal at the 5th International Calligraphy and Painting Grand Prize Exhibition in Japan.
