After completing the Master's Program in Japanese Painting at the Graduate School of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts in 2013, Ideguchi moved to the United States and began creating art based in New York. His work has been exhibited not only in Japan but also in France, India, Poland, Mexico, South Korea, China, Taiwan, and various locations across the United States. In addition to presenting his own works, he also curates exhibitions. Since 2020, he has relocated to Kyoto. Ideguchi's unique technique combines traditional Japanese painting materials with street art spray paint on canvas. His work was reviewed in the Washington Post's art review, which described him as "incorporating shapes from symbolic commercial art and speech bubbles from manga into his works. After elegant and traditional pieces, his work will have a grand impact on the future." Through his experience exhibiting in various countries, he has realized the disconnect between traditional Japanese art before the Meiji period and contemporary understanding, leading him to reinterpret classical painting. He aims to create new works that connect the past and present through motifs and materials.
