Kisaragi Art / Kimoto Doujinsha Co., Ltd. was founded in 1995 with the aim of introducing cutting-edge Japanese painters to the world and promoting diverse artistic values.
The corporate name "Doujinsha" reflects the company's core philosophy: to always stand alongside artists and work toward shared goals.
The trade name "Kisaragi Art" was chosen from a famous poem by Saigyō.
With a proven track record of organizing exhibitions across Japan and strong trust built with artists and high-end clientele,
the company is committed to presenting the essence of Japanese art as high art, offering exceptional primary-market masterpieces.
1989 Born in Suita City, Osaka Prefecture.
2013 Graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Aesthetics and Art History.
2015 Completed a Master's degree in Conservation and Restoration of Japanese Painting at Tokyo University of the Arts Graduate School.
2018 Earned a Doctorate in Conservation and Restoration of Japanese Painting at Tokyo University of the Arts Graduate School.
Received the Chairperson's Award of the Japan Women's Rehabilitation Association at “Yuga no Kai” (Seibu Art Forum, Ikebukuro, Tokyo).
2019 Appointed as Specially Appointed Assistant at the Tokyo University of the Arts COI Base (until 2023).
“Art Selection: Juri Hayashi Exhibition” (Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi).
2023 Conducted overseas research and art production based in London as a PolA Art Foundation Research Fellow.
“bruit dans l’ombre” (Galerie Du Forez, Paris).
2024 “noise in the shadow” (Fitzrovia Gallery, London). Currently based in Tokyo.
