This guiding principle of Shibuya Kuroda Toen stands apart from the concept of
“Yo-no-bi, Beauty of Everyday Thing”
It does not simply refer to ease of use,
but rather to objects that are beautiful and, at the same time,
inspire a desire to use them.
We believe that incorporating beautiful objects into daily life enriches the heart and spirit.
While curating masterpieces by modern ceramic artists with a discerning eye, we also walk alongside contemporary artists,
fostering an environment where outstanding works can continue to be created. This, we believe, is our true mission.
