Born in Osaka in 1957.
Advisor to Kaiyodo, a modeling group; CEO of Kaiyodo Kochi Co., Ltd.;
affiliated with Yoshimoto Kogyo
Executive chairman of Wonder Festival, Japan's largest modeling event.
The son of Kaiyodo founder Osamu Miyawaki, he embodies the organization Kaiyodo,
which cannot be measured by ordinary job titles.
Familiarly known as "Senmu."
In 1964, his father Osamu Miyawaki founded Kaiyodo as a retail model store,
and he has been involved in its management since he was a child.
Since the 1980s, he has led the modeling artists with his refined "eye for model aesthetics,"
and has made the transition from retail to a figure manufacturer.
He has been involved in the launch and leading of Kaiyodo.
His intricate and dynamic modeling of anime and special effects hero characters,
and extinct creatures such as dinosaurs, has been highly praised both in Japan and overseas.
He is one of the most important figures in the birth and development of the garage kit (figure) scene in Japan.
In recent years, they have created the boom in "free gifts for candy" that began
with the "Japanese Animal Series" and has become a social phenomenon.
Since then, they have collaborated with museums and large exhibition events both in Japan and abroad.
They have gained support not only from enthusiasts but also from the general public,
and continue to invent hit figures in a variety of genres.
Nankoku City in Kochi Prefecture has a long history of manufacturing, producing things like Karakuri dolls,
Tosa-uchi knives, and agricultural machinery, and has produced products with global shares and
business people with cutting-edge technological capabilities.
In 2021, Kaiyodo Space Factory Nankoku opened in Nankoku City as a production factory for soft vinyl figures.

Another highlight will be the announcement of a "copper alloy" figure created in collaboration with
Kochi Machinery Industry Co., Ltd., also located in Kochi Prefecture.
