Born in Osaka Prefecture. Graduated from the Department of Fine Art at Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London.
Airan is interested in the gap that arises in the relationship between the self and others, and aims to vividly transfer the image of a certain subject onto the surface.
Sometimes she lets the paint move naturally, and sometimes she moves it intentionally to paint.
The abstract images that emerge from this may resemble the perception and relationship between the self and others, which cannot be fully grasped.
